Pro Radio App Reviews

I used this app religiously up until last week when it stopped working altogether. Wi-Fi or 3G: it doesnt matter how many times I fiddle with it, I cant get it to connect to any stations. Im going through Radio 2 withdrawal and not unlike a junkie, I keep messing with it everyday in the hope that a pleasant & reassuring British voice will appear. So far, no dice.

Will not connect to radio 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, at any time even using wifi. I demand a refund!

Its a lottery as to whether youll connect to a station. Hope a fix is in the works. Disappointing:-(

The best UK radio app. It is the only app to have "local" stations.

Unreliable. When connectivity dips, it disconnects, then is unable to connect again unless you relaunch the thing.

I used to love this ap as it allowed me to listen to the radio on my ipad and ipod throughout the house but now its dropping steams when connectivity changes and lately Im unable to connect to the BBc at all. Needs update badly.

Downloaded to listen to bbc radio 1 in the States. Worked better than UK Radios app, as the signal is so choppy with that app. About 2 weeks ago bbc radio changed their stream service, and this app hasnt been updated. Since this app has ceased to perform its sole function for me (and I hate giving bad public reviews), I have to give it 1 star until the issue is resolved. Once resolved, my review will likely return to 5 stars. Until then, I have paid for something that I cannot use as advertised...

I purchased this app just 15 minutes ago - and I have already moved it to the top/first slot in my iPad Airs folder of "Radio and Music Player" apps! It is wonderfully straightforward and easy to use - and, most of all, it streams its stations and programs in crystal clear, full range sound. I have had a few brief "dropouts" due to severe storms that are disrupting connectivity, but those are beyond the control of any app. I recommend that you pair this app with the marvelously enhanced (and free!) schedule for all the BBC radio channels that can be found at vulpeculox.net. I used that combination to find my way to the live broadcast of James MacMillans "St. Luke Passion" thats being performed right now at Kings College, Cambridge. The performance is breathtaking! If you love live radio and audiophile sound quality, then BUY THIS APP NOW! I cant believe it is only $.99!

Finally, streams are fixed but not completely ( thats why four stars); "Absolute Radio" stations are listed with message: sorry,not allowed to play in your country! And they are one of the best...

Great App. I travel and live abroad and I am able to listen to UK radio without problems. The BBC does its best to block their stations but this app does its but to compensate.
